An ultimate guide for SAT® and SAT Subject®. Everything you need to know about SAT-1 and SAT-2 Test.

What is the SAT?
SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) is simply a University/College Entrance Exam created and administered by College Board. Most of the universities worldwide (especially American Universities) require SAT tests as a part of their admission process. SAT is a multiple-choice, paper-and-pencil test that is designed to evaluate Mathematical Reasoning, Reading and Writing Skills and Subject knowledge (in case of SAT-II) of the students going for Bachelor's Degree Programs.

Why SAT?
The purpose of SAT is to measure the readiness of the students of A Levels (FSc in Pakistan) to go for Universities or Colleges for Bachelor Degree Programs. It also provide a common denominator to the Universities/Colleges to compare all the applicants. University/College admission officers evaluate students on the basis of SAT Score, Grades in High School (O/A Levels, IGCSE, GCSE, IB, FSc) and letter of recommendations from the teachers and mentors. Overall the higher the score on SAT the more chances to get admission in a College/University of you choice.
